One of FABRICLIVE’s longest-running residents returns as DJ Hype plays an extended set in Room One. Boss of the Playaz imprint and stalwart of the drum & bass scene for more than two decades, DJ Hype joins us for a 3-hour set covering all spectrums of up-front drum & bass. Also representing the first generation of drum & bass history are one of the genre’s pioneering duos as Fabio & Grooverider land. High Culture signee Benny Page also joins alongside the young breakthrough Mollie Collins, while Limited and TS2W round off the bill. Hosting for the night comes from Eksman, IC3, Daddy Earl, Carasel and Texas.
In Room Two, we showcase a breadth of talent pushing supreme electronics at slower tempos. Om Unit lands to present his distinctive fusion of drum & bass and bass-led sounds, joined by a special guest yet to be announced – keep an eye out for this dropping soon. Sam Binga and Rider Shafique also join forces for a set exploring all realms of hip-hop, experimental and juke, while Dispatch’s Survival also joins. Grandmixxer and FABRICLIVE regular Blazey Bodynod round off the bill, with SP:MC, Killa P and Irah taking on hosting duties.
